Things To Do In Glendale:

Come Spend A Day In Glendale!

Glendale used to be most famous for its mall, but now this city on the outskirts of Los Angeles is known for so much more, and is rapidly making a name for itself as the place to come if you want something a little different. The city is surrounded by beautiful scenery, and as such you can go for a hike in the neighboring mountains, where you will find rugged terrain scattered with wild flowers. Hiking and biking are also popular in the area, or in one of the city’s parks.

If you prefer to stay in town, then you can enjoy a range of quirky galleries and museums in the city, and when the sun sets you will find live music and a range of dining options all over the city. Speaking of dining, don’t forget to try some of the signature eats in the city thanks to the large Armenian population here, as well as some of the Cuban treats that are also sold in the city. Education in Glendale

About Glendale Educational System

Since 2005, GEF has raised over $3.4 million to support impactful programs in the arts, sciences, athletics, and nutrition. We need to raise over $350,000 each year to keep these programs going for the next class of students. Our organization works on behalf of the Glendale community to enliven public education in three areas of focus: visual and performing arts, science and technology, and health and fitness.

Your support allows us to enhance Glendale Unified School District in a multitude of ways – from arts integration in elementary schools to robotics, sports programs, teacher grants and more! When you support Glendale Educational Foundation, you support the future of Glendale and neighboring communities. Source
